  • Head Girl

    I am Head Girl here at Furze Platt Senior School. I study English Literature, French, Geography and recently completed my Extended Project Qualification on the influences between poetry and art. I aim to read literature at university. Throughout my time here, one of the key learnings that this school has taught me is that, regardless of background, we all have the capability to aspire for and progress towards our ambitions. The school goes above and beyond to deliver an environment of excellence coupled with a warm and welcoming community in which everyone is stimulated to achieve. There is a variety of extracurricular activities available. I am currently a member of the Debate Club and have been part of the Chamber Choir and Hockey Team. Furze Platt provides numerous opportunities, preparing students for whichever avenue of life they may choose.

  • Head Boy

    Hello, I’m Head Boy for 2018/19. Since joining in 2012 I have seen the school develop from strength to strength, and the passion along side the above and beyond work the teachers put in have encouraged me to want to study a degree in Business Management, or Business Law. I enjoy every minute of my time at Furze Platt, and can’t wait for the year ahead!

  • Henley House Captain

    I study History, Maths, Psychology and Further Maths. I am hoping to go on and study Mathematics in university to lead to a career in banking. My academic and sporting interests have always been encouraged and furthered by the wonderful staff and great facilities on offer here at Furze Platt.

  • Dorney House Captain

    I am House Captain for Dorney and I study Sociology, Sports Studies and ICT. When I leave Furze Platt I would like to get a degree in Sports Psychology as the teachers have helped me identify my passion for it by their teaching and inspiration. Without help from my teachers I would not be in the position I am in today helping and guiding me to what I want to achieve.

  • Eton House Captain

    Since joining Furze Platt in Year 7, I have received amazing support that has enabled me to succeed in my GCSEs, allowing me to return to do my preferred subjects at A-level. Currently, I am studying Psychology, History and Maths and am enjoying each of them. I intend to study Psychology at university.

  • Cookham House Captain

    Hi, I'm joint Cookham House Captain and am currently studying Biology, Chemistry and History. I did AS Psychology during the first year of my A Levels and really enjoyed it. I have really enjoyed my experience here since joining the school in Year 9. After A Levels I would like to go to university and get a degree in Physiotherapy.

  • Windsor House Captain

    At Furze Platt, I have been studying Chemistry, Biology and Drama. All the teachers are incredibly supportive and help you with everything they can. On top of that, I have also had a lot of opportunities to participate in many extra curricular activities, including the amazing school productions, the numerous choirs and all the sports clubs. Overall, my time at Furze Platt has been has been a great experience that has impacted my future in many positive ways.

    Since I joined Furze Platt Senior School in Year 7, I have felt comfortable in the school environment with the help from the teachers as well as thoroughly enjoying my time here. Having chosen Biology, Psychology and Philosophy, Religion and Ethics as my A Levels, I am hoping to attend university to study Children’s Nursing with Mental Health Nursing as a dual field course, aspiring to work in the Children’s Mental Health industry. My time at Furze Platt has been a memorable experience which has helped me to grow into the person that I am, without all of the help from the teachers my dream of going to university would not have existed.

    Since joining Furze Platt in Year 7 I have enjoyed every aspect of school. The teachers are always there to support and push you so you can achieve the absolute maximum. There are endless clubs, trips and opportunities to participate in making the school feel like a real community.

    Hi, I’m House Captain for Bray and I study Psychology, Chemistry, Business Studies and Maths AS. After my time at Furze Platt I would like to get a degree in Chemistry as this school has made me realise my passion for it by having amazingly dedicated teachers who support you throughout your school experience. Outside of school, my hobbies are dancing and trampolining.
