Head Student

Hello, my name is Ed, and I am one of Furze Platt’s Head Students. I have studied here since Year 7 and I am taking A-level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and EPQ. Following my A levels I plan to go to university, where I hope to study Chemistry.  Over the past six years I have grown with the school, witnessing milestone events including the construction of our English/ Science block and theatre - something that really ages me! What I want to focus on as a senior student is not this physical growth, but growing the school as a community through supporting existing mentoring schemes, and also charity drives where I can. Undoubtedly over the next year my peers and I will face challenges, but I am excited to take on the role and positive that we will work hard to give back to our school, to make this year one to remember.
