National Careers Week 2026

Furze Platt Senior School is taking part in National Careers Week 2026!
National Careers Week (NCW) runs from 2nd–7th March 2026 and is a celebration of career guidance. The week provides an excellent opportunity to support young people as they prepare to leave education and move on to employment, apprenticeships or further study.
At Furze Platt Senior School, we are committed to delivering high-quality careers education in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks. In particular, Gatsby Benchmark 2 states that during each Key Stage, all pupils should access and use information about careers, pathways and the labour market to inform their decisions on study options and next steps.
To support this, we have gathered a range of informative booklets and resources for our learners to help with planning their future career prospects. These materials will enable students to explore different career pathways, understand labour market information and make confident, informed choices about their futures.
We encourage students and families to explore these resources and make the most of the opportunities National Careers Week provides.
