Sixth Form Prospectus and Admission
We hope you enjoyed our Open Evening if you were able to visit us on the 27th November. It was wonderful to see so many students and have the chance to talk to you about your post-16 studies.
Our applications portal is now open for student applications. This can be accessed using the links below. Please make sure you select the right link depending on if you are an existing Furze Platt Student or a student from another school. Please note that applications will close at 9am Wednesday 7th January 2026.
Furze Platt students will receive guidance during form time with your tutors - please wait to receive this guidance before making your applications.
We are very much looking forward to seeing Year 11 students and their families in school for this event on Thursday 27th November 2025. There is no need to register for this event in advance.
Students should be aware that we will not re-open applications once the portal closes in January 2026 and we do not hold a wait list. Should you wish to apply after the deadline has passed then we will accept late applications only in person on GCSE results day, Thursday 20th August 2026. Please bear in mind that we cannot guarantee some subjects will be available as they may be full or may not be compatible with other options selected.
We would remind all students that our Taster Days are 25th and 26th June 2026 for all students holding a conditional offer and that registration for Sixth Form is in person on GCSE results day Thursday 20th August 2026. Please do consider these when planning holidays.
