Non-uniform (Mufti) Day & It's a Knockout in aid of Thames Hospice: Friday 11th July

In addition to our 'It’s a Knockout' fundraising activity on Friday 11th July, we will be operating a non-uniform (mufti) day on the same day, for which we would ask that students wearing non-uniform make a £2 donation wherever possible. Students who are participating in the Knockout event itself will not be expected to donate an additional £2 unless they wish to.

Participants in the 'It’s a Knockout' event should wear clothes that are suitable for getting wet and messy, and are advised to bring with them a change of clothes for after the event itself. Mr Ging will write to all participants separately about clothing for the event.

Parents/carers are able to use ParentMail for payments as usual (Payments - Shop), however, payments can also be made through our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/fpss-thames-hospice

The Just Giving page allows parents/carers to donate more to the Hospice should they wish and to select Gift Aid, which will increase the amount we raise - so this is the very best way to support the wonderful charity that is Thames Hospice.

Students can give their donations in cash to their tutor in registration on the day as a last option. We recognise that some families may not be in the financial position to make such a donation at this time and students will of course not be prevented from participating in the non-uniform day if there are genuine financial challenges.

While students will be wearing their own clothes, please be aware that we do expect them to dress appropriately. There should be no offensive slogans, crop tops, onesies, costumes, backless/halter-neck tops or camisole style tops. Skirts/shorts should be of a suitable length to the knee and shoes or trainers (not flip-flops or open back sandals) should be suitable for a day at school. We request no fashion or cultural headwear should be worn, only religious head coverings as per our usual uniform policy.

Thank you.
