Over one hundred staff and students attended the Berkshire Schools District Athletics Championships on Monday 26th June. All students competed really well especially our Year 10 girls who finished in first place.
Furze Platt teacher aims to climb 3 Peaks in 24 hours
I am going to attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. My friends and I will be walking in memory of a fine man and dear friend who made a huge contribution to the success of Windsor Rugby Club and the development of many young people in the area.
Furze Platt students take part in Mars Lego challenge
A group of Furze Platt students from Years 7 and 8 visited the Mars Conference Centre in Slough last week. Along with students from other schools, they spent a period of time building and programming robots using Lego Mindstorms and then competed in a race-off.

The standard of competition within Berkshire is extremely high, so for all our students to finish in the top 6 and with so many personal bests, is a great achievement.
