Our aim is to provide a range of rewards for students which will recognise their accomplishments and provide incentives for further achievement. Praise is at the core of our behavior management system. Teachers are encouraged to praise students for positive behaviour, effort and achievement and they adopt a range of strategies to achieve this.
Listed below there are also a number of formal mechanisms through which students are rewarded.
This formal occasion provides opportunities for students to have their achievements publicly recognised.
Each term there is a whole school assembly where prizes for attendance, contribution and achievement are rewarded. Nominees will have letters sent home and are then entered into a draw for a further prize. House points are awarded for nominations.

Postcards and Letters Home
Teachers will routinely contact parents to provide positive reinforcement.
At the end of each lesson students are rewarded with stamps in their planners if they have followed our four ready to learn rules. These are recorded every two weeks and are converted into house points. There are half termly prizes in House assemblies recognising students who have collected high numbers of stamps.
