Q: What should I do if my child is off sick?

A: If your child is off sick you should call the school as soon as you are aware they will not be attending.  If there is a medical or safeguarding issue you would like to discuss other than sickness, you can also email our Attendance Officers and Safeguarding Mailbox

Q: What happens if my child has a hospital, dentist or doctor's appointment?

A: If possible, student appointments should be made outside the school day. However, we recognise that occasionally students may need to leave site to attend appointments. Where possible make any appointments after 1.45pm.

When a student has an appointment we request that parents please email (Years 7-11) or, Sixth Form Manager, for students in Years 12 and 13.

Students must sign in and out at either Main Reception (Years 7-11) or Sixth Form Reception (Years 12 and 13) when leaving for/returning from appointments.
