The Year 12 students have completed their AS Exams and are returning to start work on the A2 syllabus. As part of this work they will be visiting the Mini factory and investigating the external factors impacting on the business, as well as their marketing and human resources policies.
The Year 10 GCSE students have been the first students to follow the new modular GCSE syllabus and have taken the first external examination. They are now carrying out research for the controlled assessment that has replaced coursework. They will complete the controlled assessment by the end of Year 10.
The department is updating schemes of work in line with new exam board syllabi and in accordance with the work carried out by the action research groups.
