Our Year 10 AuRA students have been working hard to prepare for their work experience week in June and have completed their preliminary visits to their placements.
Our Year 11 and Year 13 students have completed their respective college and GCSE courses successfully and await the Prom and college graduation ceremonies. We hope to see our Year 11 student return for the Sixth Form in September. AuRA will welcome two Year 7 students this September.
The department is using a new programme developed by the National Autistic Society called ‘Socialeyes’ to support students’ social skills.
All the AuRA staff will be taking part in the Autism Conference at Priors Court School in July.
